Dawaipani is small Himalayan village in North Bengal under fascinating Darjeeling district. The village situated in opposite hill of Darjeeling town that is the famous for Tiger Hill. Dawaipani is located just 17 km away from Darjeeling town, nearest junction is Jorebunglow, just 7 km away from this beautiful destination. The place where one can take the breath on the lap of nature, village consists of only 135 – 150 houses. This village is a paradise for bird lovers, bird watching is one of the best activity in Dawaipani.

I think this is the best home stay at DAWAIPANI. Stuff's Behaviour is very polite and food is very delicious. Rooms as well as bathrooms are so clean. And this is the highest home stay at this place, so kanchenjunga and other mountains are visible from here if weather is not foggy.....😊

From 26th. Jan to 28.01.2025 for 3 night stay. My overall experience was excellent. I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days with my family. The room was nice & cozy. The location was good, but the wooden panel did not fix properly.) the view of Mount Kanchenjunga from the bedroom & corridor was breathtaking & spectacular. The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. The hosts were so well behaved and helpful, their behaviour and service was excellent. Mr. JJ arranged a bonfire and barbecue (with extra cost) for others, which we enjoyed. I will definitely recommend this homestay, and I would love to go there again.

It's located at a serene place of Upper Dawaipani village.Majestic view of Mount Kanchanjangha range is seen from the room and balcony in a bright sunny day.Free Wi fi facility is available .Homestay staffs are very cooperative and friendly. They provide fleshly cooked delicious foods 4 times daily morning, noon,evening and night.Very good Homestay with foodindg and lodging at Rs 1500 per person per day.

Our group consisted of a 3 year old kid and they arranged everything for him as requested.Kudos to the entire team for making our trip memorable.
One important note - The homestay is on top of a hill so from the main road there is a good amount of stair climb to reach the property. But once you reach all your tiredness will go away for sure.

I stayed here for 3 days.It is a Excellent Kanchanjangha view homestay. I had enjoyed the view from room & balcony both. The hospitality of there staff was Excellent. The environment of this location quite natural along with extreme silence .

The night time view is to die for & if your luck is good & weather is clear you will get a beautiful view of the Kanchenjanga!
We even explored the nearby Senchal Forest as an adventurous hike !

Excellent experience with luxury view of Kanchenjunga from the room. Peaceful and silent with environment friendly. Four times delicious meal and tea service. Budget friendly experience. all the working staffs are cooperative and friendly.. specially the hospitality of Mr. Sanad was great.
